This brief captures the key learnings and reflections that have emerged on targeting extremely vulnerable households within the Indian context under the national, government-led inclusive livelihoods programme, Samaveshi Aajeevika Yojana (SAY).
The learnings featured span five states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana). These are states where BRAC is serving as a thought partner for the government, offering technical assistance and embedded coordination support.
