Tushar Bhowmik is the chief financial officer at BRAC International, based in the UK. He leads financial strategy and oversees governance, performance management, and compliance to ensure operational efficiency across BRAC International’s countries in Asia and Africa.

Tushar brings over 25 years of experience in financial management and strategic leadership. Before assuming his current role, he held senior finance leadership positions at BRAC, Avery Dennison, Zuellig Pharma, Rahimafrooz, Citibank N.A., and Reckitt Benckiser in Bangladesh and the UK. As chief financial officer of BRAC in Bangladesh, he strengthened financial strategies, internal controls, and sustainability across a multi-billion dollar portfolio spanning development programmes, microfinance, and social enterprises.

Tushar is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in commerce from the University of Dhaka.
