Philippines

BRAC began its journey in the Philippines in 2012. The country, with a population of over 114 million, is made up of more than 7,600 islands, many of which are hard to reach.

This is especially true in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), where we work. We partner with both local and national governments to support families as they create a more hopeful future for themselves and their communities.

Philippines

The Philippines is known for its vibrant culture and diverse ecosystems. It’s one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia, expected to grow by over 6% in 2025.

The services, industry, and agriculture sectors are thriving. However, many Filipinos have limited access to healthcare, education, and employment. This is especially true in rural and conflict-affected areas. With the right support, individuals across the Philippines are building more resilient futures.
