Shweta Banerjee currently leads BRAC International's work in India, overseeing overall program quality, government, multilateral, and CSO engagement, and country office operations. Before joining BRAC, she worked for 20 years in rural livelihoods, digital inclusion, and social protection at the World Bank and India, and helped launch India’s National Rural Livelihoods Mission, as well as similar programs in Bihar, Jharkhand, and other parts of South Asia.
