Shahrukh Yasmin Mirza is chief of staff to the executive director of BRAC International. With a background in programme development and strategy, and a degree from the London School of Economics, she brings strong analytical rigour and a systems-thinking mindset into the role.

Since 2023, Shahrukh has been at the heart of cross-functional coordination, making sure teams across 13 countries in Asia and Africa, and affiliates in USA and Europe stay aligned. At BRAC International, Shahrukh blends organisational operations with strategy to ensure the seamless execution of our high-impact programmes all around the globe. Her work enables BRAC International’s leadership to respond swiftly to emerging priorities and drive progress toward BRAC’s mission towards ending poverty and advancing gender equality.
