Abhijit is a seasoned finance professional with over 16 years of experience in microfinance, banking, audit, and advisory services. Before joining BRAC, he was working as the deputy CFO of ASA International, a prominent global microfinance provider listed on the London Stock Exchange. Abhijit began his career with KPMG in Bangladesh and later moved to BRAC as the head of Internal audit for its international programme. He soon moved to finance and worked in various capacities at BRAC International Finance. Abhijit is a qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.
