This brief from CGAP on the success of the Graduation approach in increasing incomes and resilience for people in extreme poverty. Given the Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs) global focus on eradicating extreme poverty by 2030, the Graduation approach should be an integral component of national social protection and poverty reduction strategies, alongside social transfers, guaranteed employment, social insurance, and labour market support.
